Project Managers

We're always on the lookout for talented project managers to join our team! As a dynamic and fast-growing organization, we are constantly taking on new projects and expanding our business. That's why we need experienced project managers who are eager to take on new challenges and deliver results. The primary function of this role will be to provide comprehensive project management for client engagements while leading a small team of associates. As a successful candidate, you will be key in the success of our firm by producing quality and timely deliverables and managing and maintaining client relationships. 

 

This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, CA. You will be expected to work two days per week with our team and work the rest of your time remotely.

FULL TIME POSITION
Project Manager
Responsibilities

  • 40 hours/week

  • Provide comprehensive project management for client engagements

  • Manage and maintain client relationships

  • Lead a team of analysts, associates, and project management interns

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 5+ years of project management experience, managing projects successfully from start to finish

  • Experience in operations, process improvement, process re-engineering, and/or process design

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • 2-3 years of leadership experience

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for project management work and industry

  • Align with our values of making a positive impact on society, and support L&F Project Management’s social mission

Preferred Qualifications

  • PM experience managing government projects

  • PMP Certification highly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability and desire to lead a team

  • Experience working with distributed/remote teams

About the Firm

L&F Project Management is a social enterprise that creates jobs and upward economic mobility for Black women through careers in project management. Our Project Management Workforce Development Program provides paths to prosperity and empowerment through excellence in project management.

10 WEEK PROGRAM

We believe that through each woman a career is started, a family is impacted and eventually a whole community. Our vision is to increase awareness of the project management career path, provide training, mentorship, and applied learning experience to black women, and support these women along their educational and career journey.

The students will complete the course work to earn their Certified Associate in Project Management Certification and gain applied learning experience through supporting firm projects. Some students will be offered the opportunity to join the firm’s Associate Program.
